Chubby’s Jamaican Kitchen– Chubby’s Jamaican Kitchen is an exciting and fresh Jamaican restaurant concept, and we are looking for servers to join our team! We want to bring a taste of Jamaica to Toronto by providing authentic Jamaican Cuisine with modern twists in a fun and inviting environment.

The right person for this role will be passionate about creating memorable experiences. They will have hospitality in their blood and will always strive to maintain impeccable standards of service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests as soon as they enter the restaurant
• Recognize frequent guests and call them by name
• Arrange reservations for service
• Maintenance of menus, clean and accurate
• Organize wait list when applicable
• Communicate with Kitchen regarding flow of seating
• Acknowledge special occasions and alert management team
• Take guests to their tables and ensure it is to their liking
• Make menu recommendations when requested
• Explain seating and reservation policies to guests
• Attend regularly scheduled training meetings to develop knowledge and s
• Curate unique and transporting dining experiences
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills
• 1+ years host experience
• Smart Serve Certification
• Connection to Caribbean culture an asset
