Private dining room
Our private dining room is just the spot to kick back with some friends and family and enjoy some jerk. It's located on the second floor, behind our stunning re-purposed antique sliding doors. The Room offers a unique intimate and relaxed dining experience, just like that much-needed beach getaway you've been craving. Our vibrant hand-woven baskets add an inspiring tropical flare to the space.
Capacity: 12 guests seated, 40 guests cocktail-style
2nd Floor Party Table
Get into the mix and feel the good vibes, while dining on our second-floor party table! This one of a kind space is beautifully curated with playful patterns and vivid colors. Your party will be seated along our comfy banquet, beside our copper top Skatalite bar. Smell the delicious spices rising from the open jerk pit below, while you share food, laughs, and sip on vibrant cocktails all night long. We describe this space as non-private as there will be other guests dining near you, adding to the lively atmosphere.
Capacity: 10-20 guests seated.
2nd Floor Private Events
For groups larger than 20 guests we can reserve our Second Floor privately for an exclusive and intimate dining experience.
Half Buyout: 30 guests seated, 35 guests cocktail-style
Full Buyout: 45 guests seated, 60 guests cocktail-style
Private Buyouts
We brought Jamaica to an 1890’s Toronto town house! Chubby’s melds old and new, curated and designed with a deep love of Jamaica’s vivacious culture. Be greeted with vibrant tropical colours and a beautiful custom palm tree mural that climbs all the way up the stairs and surrounds the entire restaurant. You will immediately think you’ve been transported to a warm paradise. Taste that sweet rum and smell the woodfired - jerk pit before your meal even begins. Let us host your next special occasion and come experience something truly unique.
